One-Year Warranty Applies Only to Original Consumer
Purchaser and for 1 Year. This product is warranted only to the
original consumer purchaser and only for a period of one year from the
original purchase date.
Warranty Coverage. This product is warranted against defective
construction and materials (batteries excluded). THIS WARRANTY IS
VOID IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN DAMAGED BY ACCIDENT, UNREASONABLE USE,
NEGLECT, IMPROPER SERVICE, OR ANY OTHER CAUSE NOT ARISING OUT OF DEFECTS
IN CONSTRUCTION OR MATERIALS.
Warranty Disclaimers. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF
THIS SALE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN
DURATION TO THE ABOVE 1-YEAR PERIOD. Flashmaster LLC shall not be
liable for loss of use of the product or other incidental or
consequential costs, expenses, or damages incurred by the consumer or
any other user. Some states/provinces/countries do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or consequential damages,
so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
Legal Remedies. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or from
province to province or from country to country.
Warranty Performance. During the above 1-year warranty period,
if this warranty covers a problem with the product and if the product is
returned, postage prepaid and as otherwise specified below, Flashmaster
LLC will, at its option, either replace the product with a new or
like-new model of equivalent quality or refund the actual
purchase price or the suggested retail price, whichever is less. The
product must be mailed, postage prepaid, by United States Mail (not
by UPS or FedEx) to: Flashmaster LLC, P.O. Box 9321, Jackson Hole,
WY 83002, USA. Your name, your address suitable for the U.S. Mail,
proof of the purchase price paid and of the date of purchase, and a
brief description of the problem must be included with the product. An
e-mail address and telephone number can also be helpful.
IMPORTANT: Before returning
this product, test it with new alkaline AA-size batteries installed with
correct polarity. See “HOW TO INSTALL BATTERIES” on page 4.
NOTE: If
the above warranty differs in any way from the warranty set forth in the
Guide for Teachers and Parents that accompanies your FlashMaster,
the warranty more favorable to you in your
particular situation applies.
